We take pride in the diversity of our membership and executive committee. Our dedicated Diversity Team hosts a series of events that celebrate this.
To inspire the largest, most diverse society in Warwick, the Diversity team focuses on assisting undergraduates of all backgrounds in feeling welcomed, informed, and empowered as they head into Finance. We aim to create an open environment that facilitates growth by:
- Hosting networking and insights events designed for underrepresented members, helping them acquire first-hand insights into the industry and build a network with professionals of similar backgrounds.
- Offering more dynamic support through the implementation of event accessibility and communications features, such as feedback forms and forums, event transcripts, recordings and text-to-speech.
- Encouraging inclusion through various informative and social events, affinity networks and mentorship programmes, which fosters the exchange of ideas and cultures as well as support within communities.
- Promoting WFS to underrepresented communities through collaboration with other societies to improve the diversity of WFS.
