Our purpose

WFS is one of the largest finance societies in Europe. We help members break into the finance industry and understand how it works through weekly market briefings, technical workshops, networking evenings and more.

Since 2000, we've helped students from a range of courses at Warwick into investment banking, markets, private equity and hedge funds. No prior knowledge is required to join our society.

At our core, we are a platform to educate our members in a welcoming environment. Our 20 annual Markets Discussion forums provide commercial awareness briefings to students and the opportunity to present on topics of their interest.

Equally important to developing our members perspectives is building a strong and lasting community. Each year, our themed Spring Ball boasts the highest attendance of any ball at the university and is an unforgettable occasion for all involved.

The Shard Sell-Side Panel Event

Leveraging the prime location of the Warwick Business School campus in London's iconic Shard, we host discussions from pivotal industry leaders followed by a networking reception. Each year this high demand event sees 100+ students and 50+ alumni attend.
