Insights
The Insights division exists to make finance make sense. Every week we publish written analysis breaking down macro, markets and live deals, alongside the concepts behind them. Around that, we run hands-on sessions, industry simulations and competitions so you can put what you learn into practice. Whatever part of finance you are targeting, it is where you learn to think like an analyst and explain a story well enough to hold your own in an interview.

Fidelity Stock Pitch Competition
Our flagship investing competition, run with Fidelity International, challenges teams to research a company, build a compelling investment thesis and present it as a clear recommendation. The top teams pitch at a live final judged by Fidelity International professionals and receive direct feedback on how investors actually evaluate ideas, competing for a share of a cash prize pool. It is open to all Warwick students regardless of year or degree, and gives you a high-impact talking point for applications and interviews.
SIMULATION - Term 2
AmplifyME Simulation
In partnership with AmplifyME, we run simulations across areas such as sales and trading, asset management and M&A, with previous events run alongside firms including Morgan Stanley. They give you a genuine feel for what these roles involve day-to-day, and they are consistently among the society's best-attended events, so register early.
SERIES - Term 1
Trading Academy
Run alongside the Markets division, the Trading Academy teaches how trades actually get made. From writing equity research reports to forming and pitching your own trade ideas, it takes you from theory to something you could put in front of an interviewer. Whether you have never opened a terminal or already follow markets daily, there is a level for you.
Insights Frep Recruitment
The Insights division hires one Fresher Representative each year to work alongside the senior exec in writing our weekly commentary and running our sessions and events. We're looking for individuals with a genuine interest in markets and the initiative to follow through on their own ideas.
