Market Discussions
Our flagship event brings members together each week to talk through what's moving global markets, from the latest developments to the broader economic and business themes behind them. It is the most direct way to build the commercial awareness that sets you apart in interviews and internships, and no prior knowledge is needed to join in.

Trading Academy
The Trading Academy builds technical market knowledge from the ground up. Alongside the technical sessions, members get to apply what they learn in practice through workshops and trading competitions, with prize money for the top performers.
INDUSTRY SPEAKERS- Throughout the year
Speaker Series
We bring senior industry figures to campus to speak on how markets work in practice, covering macro strategy, asset allocation, commodities and trading. This year we hosted Joe Little, Global Chief Strategist at HSBC Asset Management, and James Brodie, Head of Learning & Development at Onyx Capital Group. Sessions are open to all members and usually end with time for questions, which is the part worth staying for.
Markets Frep Recruitment
The markets division hires two Fresher Representatives each year to work alongside the senior exec in running our sessions, competitions and content. No prior experience needed, just genuine interest in markets and the initiative to follow through on your own ideas.
